Encanto Restaurant & Bar opens

The Encanto Restaurant & Bar celebrates its grand opening on Sept. 8. Beverage Director Taylor Barton is shaking the restaurant’s classic margarita, and Chef Arturo Quesada is offering a choice of either a complimentary carne asada or braised chicken taco. A live DJ will spin tunes from 8 p.m.-12:30 a.m. Encanto Restaurant & Bar offers a dinner, late night and brunch menu. 2121 Hillhurst Ave., (323)741-0140.
